As you start playing Diablo- 3, it looks like the easiest playing character. You just have to choose the weapon, get some armor and fight up close and personal with nasty enemies who will be your aim in the game of Diablo.
At first, you must know how to handle a melee weapon. There may be throwing barbs, and even party-buffing war cry builds, but you should not try it if you don't have enough experience. Until and unless you don't have anyone to guide (who have at least played Hell in D2 more than a couple of times), you can't even handle normal difficulties in hanky halfway. So, you should choose the right weapon, considering all the further possibilities. If you choose a sword, there may be two-handed sword like one sword in each hand and it will help you to fight but you can't protect yourself. So, leave one of the swords and pick up a shield. It's very simple if you are properly guided. In case of Axes, it is easy to use and it helps to create large numbers of hits and also provides attack ranking and a lot of damage if compared to other weapons. But, axes are too slow. You can't use axes and shield together. Moreover, in Diablo high damage axe means no shields. The most important thing which you must keep in mind is that if you want to save your team, you will have to save yourself. So, it is useful if you use a sword and a shield in sword mastery.
Secondly, you should choose Bash and Concentrate while you play the Diablo 3. Don't even think of Whirlwind on your first try as barbarian. Bash up all your enemies and concentrate on finishing your enemies as you reach level 18.You should also concentrate on defending your self at higher levels, thus in this way you can stand as unbreakable shield wall whereas all your team members will keep blasting all those enemies.
Thirdly, you shouldn't forget battle rules. This should be followed by all family members. You should use high-level battle orders to boost the energy of your team and get high points.
And lastly, if you are playing for the first time you should put some points in battle cry as it helps to reduce the damage caused by the enemies. Your melee team members will be thankful to you for this. Also remember that you are not the only one, who is taking damage from enemies, your team mates also suffer a lot due to claws of the demon. Your battle cry will lower the defense of the enemy.
Do remember that you can get more experience in the game if you adventure it with your friends and confronting with more lethal enemies. So, what are you waiting for? Grab the joystick now and have a jolly good time cutting them off. Have fun, playing Diablo 3 happily with your friends.

D3-Two Views

Ok, so I know it's a little early to be judging the newly announced Diablo III as it will likely not be released for a couple of years. That being said, the trailers, gameplay videos and screenshots Blizzard has released have many hardcore Diablo fans scratching their heads and wondering what Blizzard is thinking?!?
I know when I was glued to my screen watching the trailer and the gameplay video I thought the graphics were really nice, some think they are perhaps a little too nice. We all remember our beloved Diablo being gritty and realistic with most of the game set in dark and dismal dungeons in which you could only see as much as your character's light radius would allow, the rest was a mystery! The released screenshots and videos for Diablo III, however give us a look into a much more polished environment with brighter colors and smooth textures, not really indicative of a world which has been battling the forces of hell for decades. But, because the videos contain merely a small glimpse of a pre-alpha release version of this much anticipated sequel, I will turn my attention to the concept art. Most of what I find there seems to very closely match the images conjured up in my head when I think of Diablo. They are raw, creepy and dark. Also as far as pure unabashed gore, it doesn't get much better than monsters biting the heads off players! The thing I think we would all like the developers to keep in mind is that WoW and Diablo are two very different games with very different concepts and storylines. Many hardcore fans are concerned that due to the massive worldwide success of WoW they will lose site of the tradition of Diablo and make it too much of a mirror image of WoW. Some people are so upset about it they have started a petition to show Blizzard people disagree with their artistic choices thus far which now has nearly 50,000 signatures (some of which are duplicates, I'm sure). I guess if this is what you need to do to pass the time then more power to you! I, however will sit back and relax and wait for Blizzard to deliver yet another amazing game which I will thoroughly enjoy sinking endless hours of my time into, after all they seem to be pros at that!

Loads of D3

Blizzard entertainment has released Diablo just few years ago, but it has not been long period for the game to gain popularity and major awards (including game of the year).
Its sequel Diablo 3 has been the most awaited game among 'Diablo' lovers. Why are people so crazy about D3?
Some says it is good combination of adventure, action and role-playing games. Diablo was challenging to keep people at their computer for a long time and make them eager to get other too. Based on games, Diablo 3 is somewhat similar to Diablo 2.
Progress by Trial and Error
The main question, what is the game all about? Actually it's a suspenseful as well as complex mystery. It comes out with different challenging tasks and puzzles that you need to complete to step up a level. To get rid of these problems, you should search clues and apply tactics by trial and error method. It's all about discovering, exploring, cunning and cooperation and lastly it's about combat.

In the way, you are troubled by the monsters and giants that try to reduce your progress. You must kill them before they do. These enemies find smart ways to trouble you moreover some even slither out of the ground. In addition to them, Diablo's two bad-news brothers, Baal and Mephisto, they try their best to cause problems wherever you go.
Gain Mad Skills
You will also get to know numbers of non-playing characters they are called as NPCs. These creatures provide you information or assign you tasks, known as quests. You have to complete it in order to progress in game .Once you complete it successfully; you will be promoted to next level for the next act according to an obliging NPC.
What type of quest you will find there? Here a sneak peek from the first act of Diablo II:" Den of Evil", given by Akara. Find a cave in nearby not specified woods. Kill all the giants, including any champion. Return to Akara, for all your effort, you'll be rewarded one skill point.
Diablo 3 is as good as its predecessors and with more enhanced user interface and added chat codes it has become much more addictive that any other version available yet in the market. Diablo 3 quick hit

Diablo III is in the works!!!
I am not ashamed to say that I have been a Diablo freak ever since the first game. It is my favorite game of all time. It is the only game that I have played for years. Yes, years! I played Diablo II since it first came out until about a year ago. I bought it when it first came out for $39.99 and have had days and days of fun playing it.
If you think about it from a financial or investment standpoint, I got 5 years worth of great entertainment for only $40! Where else can you find a return on investment than that?! Diablo III promises to be as good if not better than part 2. I have waited for so long for this game to come out and it is finally here. I feel like a kid again (I'm only 29, lol).
Teaser Video Released I saw a teaser video on FilePlanet yesterday that got me all excited. I highly recommend you watch this video. Don't be afraid to install the download manager it installs. I download from here all the time and it is a great manager and does not pop up ads or anything. Plus you can always uninstall it later.
A Beautiful New Look The game is programmed in DirectX 10 and it looks absolutely beautiful. They kept it in the old fashion 3rd person view which I am very grateful for. This game was not meant to be first person in my opinion. There is rag doll effects, lots of destructible environment objects, huge bosses, and a much improved combat system. The skills look great too!
I am head over heels for this game at the moment and I will probably get bashed for being such a childish geek about it. However, I am going to enjoy re-living this game once more which could be a bad thing. I fear that I might get hooked once again and it may disrupt my dedication to this blog. I know I should just ignore this game, but at the same time it is going to be impossible. Sometimes you got to just dive into the deep water and hope you can swim.

The Release of Diablo 3

by Philip Kollar, 1up.com
Earlier this week, 1UP guessed (along with most of the rest of the internet) that Blizzard would announce Diablo III at their Worldwide Invitational in Paris. Now after a long night of anxious waiting, we can finally confirm that Diablo III has been announced.
Check out the debut video and first screenshots at 1UP.com.
The announcement began with an acoustic rendition of the Diablo theme music followed by the game's first trailer. The trailer included an ominous voice over of the type we've come to expect with the series' dark occult themes set to images of "castles and battles and stuff blowing up."
The game's lead designer, Jay Wilson, then stepped on stage for a demo of the long-awaited action-RPG. Wilson showed off a muscle-bound barbarian character who he said perfectly embodied Blizzard's philosophy for Diablo III: "No such thing as too much power."
Visually, the game takes a cue from last year's big Blizzard announcement, Starcraft II; rather than go the route of amazingly realistic graphics that require a high-end computer to run, the game's engine will remain isometric with slightly stylized graphics. Get a better idea of the style Blizzard is reaching for with this artwork video:
The demo provided by Blizzard plucked our nostalgia strings by briefly showing Deckard Cain, a character from the previous game, interacting with the player. Blizzard also showed off the new environmental destruction system that allows for much more detailed devastation than was possible in Diablo II. This is partially helped along liberal use of the Havok physics engine.
The barbarian was not the only class on display, as Wilson also unveiled a brand new class for the series: Witch Doctor. This addition to the Diablo III cast will feature abilities focused around pets and taking over the minds of his or her opponents. Check out Blizzard's video walkthrough of the classes below:
Since the press conference's completion, Blizzard's official Diablo III website has gone live, already filled with lots of information about the new game. A map of the world of Diablo III reveals a large number of locations (though only two currently have information available for them), suggesting perhaps that this iteration's world will be much larger than the previous games in the series.
Fans of the franchise will recognize the name of "New Tristram" as one of the locales, and we can only wonder what new horrors will be visited on the citizenry this time. Tristram Cathedral, surely a throwback to the original game, is the first confirmed dungeon for Diablo III.
The official website also contains lore for both of the currently revealed classes, several types of confirmed enemies, and a journal entry from the aforementioned Deckard Cain. Three more character classes are promised, leaving plenty of time for more big reveals before the game's release.
In addition to all that fun story stuff, the website's FAQ provides some interesting information on the game that Blizzard is already calling "the definitive action role-playing game." It seems Diablo III will be set twenty years after the last game -- the heroes of which have gone insane -- with most of the world of Sanctuary's inhabitants not knowing how close to destruction their world came. In addition to randomly-generated environments and dungeons, Diablo III will introduce random scripted events.
Tellingly (and not unexpectedly), Blizzard says it is too early to tell when Diablo III will be released. "We intend to take as much time developing Diablo III as is necessary to ensure the game meets our own high expectations and those of our players," reads one entry on their FAQ. And as much as we now want to get our hands on this game, we can't fault Blizzard for the same slow-paced development cycle that has worked so well for them in the past.
Check out Thierry Nguyen's liveblog of the event for the minute-to-minute details of the announcement as it happened. Also, check out our recap of the key things you need to know about Diablo III. We're hoping to get a closer look at Diablo III before the week is up, so stay tuned.
